What's up Dawg?

I think this Indie Dryer did a real nice job with these yarns and I don't think she was "pitchy" at all. I think she had a lot of fun dying them as well. You can tell because the coloring is absolutely divine.

And Where did I get this delicious yarn? I bought it from Jen at WoolGirl. However, the name of the yarn is WHATNOTSOCK hand-dyed by Joni Miles of Union Center Knits for WoolGirl. The color is exclusive to the shop as it's name is, guess? Woolgirl. Not only made in WoolGirl's colors but then you can also purchase the Toe & Heel color in your choice of coordinating shades of yarn. Yes, of course I choose the pink, what other color is there?

Oh, did you see my new gadget that I added as extra eye candy? It's a Fuzion Xtreme Professional Digital MINI SCALE. This little scale is soo cool! It comes in handy when you are separating one yarn ball into two for toe-up socks. I got this one on Eby. I love my gadgets.

What Kind of Daemon Are You?

Have you heard about this movie? The Golden Compass. Nicole Kidman is to star in it and it is to be in theatres December 2007. It's an exciting fantasy, set in a parallel world where souls manifest themselves as small animals. The souls live on the outside of their body, in the form of a DAEMON - a talking animal spirit that accompanies them through life; always close to it's corporeal half. A child's daemon can change shape, assuming all the forms that a child's infinite potential inspires; but as a person ages, their daemon gradually settles into one form, according to their character and nature.

This is my Daemon.

Do Y'all Want to See My New Lil Pink Ewe..I Bet Ewe You Do!

Y'all know that my favorite color is pink?   Well if ya don't I'm going to have to hit ya in the head! ....Dong!

Anyway....I had Laurie (the best darn fiber artist in the world) of Woolpets to make me a PINK sheep (ewe).  I didn't give her a picture or any ideas, just told her I wanted her standing and in pink.

This is what I received.....I LOVE her.  Of course her name is Ms. Pinky.

As a very little girl living on a farm I had a baby pet pig named Billy.

I hated getting shots as a child.  It took the nurse and my mother to hold me down and then after

         I would always get sick at my stomach.  As an adult...ummm...no one has to hold me down but I

         can't look.  I'm still that scared little child.

I have won a beauty pageant and modeled.

I love McDonald's french fries (no ketchup).

I hate it when people "hint around" or "walk around the block" the subject.  You

          need to be direct,  just come out and ask what you need from me.   If you hint around I

          will purposely ignore you.  Ask I will try to change the world for you.

I won't go out of the house without makeup on my face.

I loove body cremes, lotions...ah the smells!  I have too many perfumes, oils sprays.

           Mr Pink Stitches is in the aw-some smell department.  I love to smell good smell'n people.

I'm in heaven when I have a big piece of buttered lobster in my mouth (sorry Louie).

Seize Diamondbacks Socks

I thought I'd show you my finished first sock from the Seize Diamondbacks KAL. I really like this pattern. It's a fun and relaxing to knit. I've posted this before, but you can purchase the pattern from John at Yarn Ball Boogie.

Louie the Knitt'n Lobstah

Got Lobstah?  I do, Well, I have the Louie The Lobstah Dishcloth.  I knitted him from a pattern designed by Isabelle.  You have to belong to our as Isabelle designed this pattern just for our Lobstah-ettes.  Hey, don't be so sad, you can go to Tricotine's (Isabelle's) Store) and find several other patterns for some great dishcloths or even purchase "Louie The Knitt'n Lobstah" himself and you can join our Sistahood.

Of course you can tell by my color...my Louie isn't cooked yet.  I just didn't have the heart!

A Pink Castle...What more could I ask for?

Can you spell  PINK  ?  As in PINK CASTLE ?  You all know we have our home up for sale. I found this picture on Webshots.  I think it has everything I've been looking for.  <:~)  Although, Mr Pink Stitches would not go for it all.  He much prefers new construction and PINK?  To him this is not a "manly" color.

Did you notice the dark pink curtains in the window?  Oh, such fun!!!
